Who we are
This website, booleanarray.com (the “Site”), is operated by 8990719 Canada Inc., carrying on business as “Boolean Array” (“we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Ontario, Canada. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@booleanarray.com.
This policy covers the marketing website only. Our products (such as SiteBleed and WhatsYourShare) are governed by their own privacy policies.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, plus any optional details you provide (company, service of interest, budget range).
- Information collected automatically. Our servers record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser/user-agent, and request timestamps. We use this to secure the Site and prevent abuse (for example, rate-limiting the contact form).
- Local storage. We store your light/dark theme preference and your cookie-consent choice in your browser’s local storage. These are strictly functional and stay on your device.
- Analytics cookies (only with your consent). If you accept via our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. See Cookies & analytics below. We use no advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide information you request.
- To operate, secure, and maintain the Site and prevent misuse or fraud.
- To keep reasonable records of business communications.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We rely on your consent (which you provide by submitting the form) and our legitimate business interests in operating and securing the Site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Service providers
We share personal information only with trusted providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed to provide their service:
- Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox by email.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the Site.
- Cloudflare — provides DNS and content-delivery/security.
- Google — provides website analytics (Google Analytics 4), loaded only if you accept analytics cookies.
These providers may process data on servers located outside Canada (including the United States). Where that occurs, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
Cookies & analytics
We do not set any cookies by default. The only information stored on your device without consent is functional (your theme and cookie-consent preferences, kept in local storage).
If you accept via our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to measure site usage in aggregate — for example, which pages are popular. Analytics data is processed by Google; GA4 anonymizes IP addresses by default. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is never loaded.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Retention
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and to maintain reasonable business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Technical logs are retained only for a short period for security purposes.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and modern security headers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@booleanarray.com.
If you are in Canada, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR.
Children
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
